      This book is important to the study of management in South Africa. As an academic discipline, management studies in the South African context are stooped in capitalist ideology and positivist tradition. The book tries to break free from this ‘mainstream’ discourse and presents an alternative discourse on management studies, a discourse that is more critical of the ‘mainstream’ and which endeavors to present an alternative reality.

      This video will not only introduce Critical Management Studies (CMS) as an alternative discourse, It will also introduce certain directions CMS is taking in South Africa, as well as certain contexts that CMS concerns itself within South Africa.
